How a culture upgrade helped me thrive 💪

Lots of people talk about culture in organisations, but not many organisations really live the culture they aspire to. Lists of values, mission statements, even beer fridges and beanbags don't make culture - people do, and culture has to come from how people really feel. It took me quite some time working in tech to understand this concept and how much it was impacting my career without realising! Lack of diversity, focus on the individual rather than a team and not caring deeply about the product was what was holding me back, so I needed to make a change. In this talk I will talk about my personal journey as an engineer and how choosing the organisation with the RIGHT culture directly helped me to become happy, fearless and experience amazing personal growth!
